Progressive Vaccines and Immunizations

It's important for every parent to ensure that their children are properly protected against many common diseases. Today's vaccines make it easy to achieve that goal. Preventing diseases according to the childhood vaccinations schedule recommended by the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices includes many single and combination vaccines that are licensed in the US. These vaccines immunize, or protect children against the following preventable diseases:

  • Diphtheria
  • Hemophilus influenza type b (Hib)
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Influenza (flu)
  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German measles)
  • Meningococcal disease
  • Pertussis (whooping cough)
  • Pneumococcal disease
  • Polio
  • Rotavirus
  • RSV -Respiratory Syncytial Virus
  • Tetanus (lockjaw)
  • Varicella (chickenpox)

At Progressive Pediatrics, we vaccinate and immunize children during their regular preventive care visits, according to the CDC recommended immunization schedule. If you have any questions or concerns about which vaccinations your child needs, please feel free to contact one of our pediatricians or a member of our staff.
